Maelstrom's Edge is a far-future science fiction setting, supported by a tabletop game and a range of plastic models, novels, and audiobooks.
The Universe
The Maelstrom, a gigantic apocalyptic explosion of dark energy, is rapidly expanding out from the heart of the galaxy, destroying everything it touches. As worlds and stars are obliterated from existence, those who have the means flee towards deep space, while those left behind fight for the chance to escape.
The Miniature Range
The Maelstrom's Edge miniature range currently includes four different factions (and more to come!) with regular model releases, and terrain sprues containing detail elements to enhance your terrain. You can find the current range in the Maelstrom's Edge webstore.
The Game
The first edition of the Maelstrom's Edge rules launched with the Battle For Zycanthus starter set back in 2016. While this is now sold out, we are currently working on a version 2 of the rules with a new, hardcover rulebook due out in mid-2022. To jump into the Maelstrom's Edge universe now, grab the Beta version of the V2 rules from the Trial Rules section.
